We want to hear from all workers who can speak to changes your employer has made to their policies or practices related to trans inclusion following the Supreme Court judgment. We must show the government the real-world impact on trans workers if they do not act quickly to fix the outdated regulations that mandate trans exclusion.

While the High Court dismissed trans workers’ concerns about privacy and outing as mere ‘gossip at work’, we know there will be real ramifications of forcing trans people to suddenly start using different facilities than those they have always used.
The law around trans inclusion at work is a mess. Workplace regulations from the 90s are being interpreted to mean that the total exclusion of trans people from gendered facilities like bathrooms and changing rooms is the only way - at great cost to employers and at even greater cost to trans workers, some of whom have already been forced to leave their jobs.
Recent court decisions are making it increasingly difficult for trans and nonbinary people to go to work with dignity and privacy. Complete our Workers Survey to help us push the government to update the law and make trans inclusion possible again!
