@stephanieburgis Is it the chalice from the palace or the vessel with the pestle that has the poison, I can never remember. I only watched it for the first time a few years ago on a friend's recommendation and it was fabulous. Danny Kaye is marvelous and the young Angela Lansbury chews the scenery so well.

Reposting for any #Discworld fans - a little while back, I wrote a little bit of fan fiction in response to a question posed by the excellent @Pratchat podcast where the question of the origin of the Igors was raised.

It's not perfect, but still happy with how it turned out.

@tm_baumgartner The MidSolar Murders series by Mur Lafferty is quite good as audio books. Set mostly on a space station with plenty of weird aliens and even though its a murder mystery, very little on page violence

Hi Tiny Pocket Pals, after a few years break, im once again walking with friends all night to raise money for cancer research as part of the Cancer Council Relay for Life. We like to theme our team and this year is Lord of the Rings with our team name 'For Frodo'. Previous years have been - 'Magic: The Staggering', 'Just Keep Stepping' (Disney) and 'Run, Rincewind, Run' (Discworld)

@FallenRedNinja Im glad you had a good time, the weather has been way too hot here lately to do much.
@FallenRedNinja The Botanic Gardens in CBD are extra pretty at the moment, they are full of big, beautiful glass sculptures which are free to view during the day. The 2 big venues (Garden of Unearthly Delight and Gluttony) has some good stuff, but the Courtyard of Curiosities at the Migration Museum has a really eclectic mix of shows that more people should see.
@FallenRedNinja Adelaide is party town during Fringe, so many shows to see, you never get to everything. This does not mean things are open late though. The major supermarkets all close at 5pm on Sat/Sun and usually 7pm-9pm on weekdays. If you need anything after that time, its 24/7 convenience stores only and those are mainly attached to petrol stations. Coffee shops are everywhere in the CBD so you can get a caffeine fix very easily (up to about 3pm) and the Adelaide Central Market is always good for a visit.

Im watching a mix of cdrama and Kdrama at the moment

'You are my Lover Friend' #cdrama on Viki. As the same implies its a friends to lovers romance, and the secondary couples and friends are very entertaining too.

'Miss Night and Day' #kdrama on Netflix. Its standard kdrama - romcom with a serial killer murder mystery😄 the main leads have nice chemistry and the actor playing the daytime version is sooo good at physical comedy

@hanktank61 the female lead is the villian in 'The Glory' revenge drama. She was very good at acting as an awful person, she seems pretty charismatic. Im keen to watch this one, hoping someone else picks it for viewing.
