Back in 2013, I signed up for the American Cancer Society’s CPS-3 - a 30-year research study on cancer prevention. We’re now 12 years in, with 18 to go. By the time it wraps up, I’ll be 65 - and of course, I’m hoping to make it there cancer-free. 💪💜

Today I went in to give 5 more vials of blood, which will be frozen and stored to help researchers better understand what causes cancer and how to prevent it.

At a time when federal cancer research funding has been cut to almost nothing, studies like this rely more than ever on private support. That’s why your donations truly matter - they keep discoveries and hope alive.
