This morning, I wrote down every bit of functionality in ReceiptBin. My goal is to understand what should change. After working for a couple months, I’ve noticed some feature creep, and think would be best to remove or simplify features to improve the experience. This afternoon, I plan on thinking more about the problems the app solves and how well it actually solves them. I’ll put myself in other people’s shoes, like someone doing their taxes, to understand what’s most important. #indiedev

Hello, this is my first post on Mastodon. I want to share what I've been working on lately. For the past three months, I've been building ReceiptBin. It's a native iOS app that lets you quickly save and organize your receipts. I made it because most other apps are full of ads, don't work with the latest Apple APIs, and cost too much.
