Crazy.

I never would have thought how important the #Fediverse would become as one of the last communication networks that are not controlled by governments, directly or indirectly

Especially in times like now when almost all other ones are kissing the ring

Billionaires who are in control of most of our daily communication should not be trusted, our most valued digital forms of connection should be in control of the people like you and me

Thank you for being part of this❀️

The final chapter of Tesla isn't about innovation. It's about the hubris of a white supremacist who thinks he rules the world. The brand that once promised to save the planet is now a study in how fast one ketamine-addled man-child can drive a company off a cliff.

Nobody Wants a Nazi Electric Car

Musk chased right-wing approval, but the only thing he got was declining sales and a dying brand.

You've probably heard that "we are stardust," but this graphic breaks it down further & tells you what kind of stars your dust came from--and which elements didn't come from stars at all.

NASA Scientific Visualization Studio | Periodic Table of the Elements: Origins of the Elements

The periodic table organizes all the known elements by atomic number, which is the number of protons in each atom of the element. This version of the table, which draws on data compiled by astronomer Jennifer Johnson from Ohio State University, shows our current understanding of how each element found on Earth was originally produced. Most of them ultimately have cosmic origins. Some elements were created with the birth of the universe, while others were made during the lives or deaths of stars. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will help us understand the cosmic era when stars first began forming. The mission will help scientists learn more about how elements were created and distributed throughout galaxies. The related Tumblr post is here. ||

Trump just ordered HIV medication to be withheld from Africa's poorest communities.

I'm not going to sugar coat this. I'm not going to "play nice."

This is fourteen-words-vomiting, edge-lord, eugenicist white supremacy in action.

Trump's PEPFAR Shutdown is White Supremacy in Action

The message is clear - these lives are expendable to an administration steeped in white supremacist ideology.

Before Google decided to let extremists rename bodies of water, it used common sense.

From 2008: "...if a ruler announced that henceforth the Pacific Ocean would be named after her mother, we would not add that placemark unless and until the name came into common usage."

The interview covers topics such as learning Blender, working with a team (actually multiple small teams), using add-ons, and single-handedly lighting and rendering the film.
