The Streets of MelbourneSuch a simple little plant is the #groundblueconvolvulus, and I think that’s why I love them!
They’re everywhere throughout #Melbourne, atm, growing in front yards, rockeries and some act as ground coverage under other shrubs and trees.
Their scientific classification, Convolvulus sabatius, in Latin refers to the Savona region of Italy; their native environment / home.
The colours of their petals just does it for me. Little touch of yellow in the middle and predominantly purple.

The home owner is happy for me to take his strays off his property, so there is no issue with 'ownership'. He's feeding them, but is not a fan. The Mama is a beautiful calico, and I'll be aiming to keep her because why not!

I need to find #Melbourne #catsofmastodon lovers! I've discovered a house in the next suburb with 3 kittens (2 x ginger & white, a calico I'm told, but not yet seen: around 7 weeks old), a 4th from an earlier batch (black & white male). I've managed to get the black & white kitten home, he's terrified but will come good once he settles down. I'm going to get him fixed & vaxxed after Christmas, but need help finding a home.
