Watching bumblebees foraging in my garden this aft, on comfrey, the last of my rosemary, on my phacelia and chives.
They love my phacelia flowers, grown especially for them. They lean right into the chive flowers with their little bottoms sticking up. It’s quite comical, but don’t tell them I said so, I wouldn’t want to offend any of them. 😀🐝

#gardening jobs today - potting on young #courgette plants (in the US I think you call them #zucchini?) and sowing climbing #nasturtium seeds for salads later in the summer. Zero air miles, and I know exactly how they’ve been grown, ie peat free and not sprayed with anything harmful to insects. 😊 #GYO

Late #lunch. Not so much a coddled egg today as a mini mushroom omelette cooked in an egg-coddler. 1 egg, splash of milk, pepper, pinch of garlic powder, all mixed together & topped with some sliced shrooms and a sliver of butter. Lid on. Into pan of boiling water for 12 mins. Toast alongside. Yum. 😋 #CoddledEgg

My ‘Micro Tom’ #tomato plants from SeaSpring Seeds have started to flower, despite having been potted on only a few days ago. Tough little plants and rather fun to grow! 😊Hoping for the first fruit in about 6 weeks’ time. #gardening 😊🍅
