A glorious morning - extremely cold, but still wonderful to be out in the sunshine. I was rewarded with a close encounter with the grey heron - he cautiously let me walk past him on the towpath.
Simply gorgeous morning today. It really does feel and sound like spring. This is the view from the bridge where I cross over and start the return leg.
