Today on #thanksgiving I give thanks to the indigenous peoples who loved and lived on the land where I make my home. I remember their struggles and the countless broken promises made to them. I grieve for the many tribes still looking for their missing children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, lost to white Christian schools that tried to eradicate their "Indian-ness." I wish them peace today and acknowledge the debt I can never repay.

@davey_cakes Me too. I don't think social media is the only reason online life has constricted into such insularity. Search engine overlords at the Google have narrowed options slowly in their attempt to turn search into a more "natural language" experience using voice search. The engine also prioritized instant answers, where the most clicked answer is permanently affixed to the top of results.
It's almost impossible to find anything new anymore. What you see is what you have seen.
