For what ever reason I'm learning Nay as well as #saxophone. The #Nay #flute is edge blown so very sensitive to pressure, angle, oral cavity etc because nothing constrains the end-effect. One can move a semitone or so very easily... More the lower you go... And 20¢ or so can be a specific note in #maqam based music!
So, lots of work for the ears - and it's hard as I'm a late starter. My best tool is long tones against drone tracks.

This propensity to push everything into right-vs-left polarization is annoying. Masto users seem to have a higher education level on average, and being well-informed, factual, and evidence-based get labeled "left" as if those things are some sort of political position.
