Wouldn't need billionaire charity if they haven't hoarded the wealth away from the people in the first place. We're not getting Batman or Tony Stark but we've created about 100 Lex Luthors
Do you even understand monopolies or franchises? The reason why it's sometimes more convenient to use only one corporation for everything is because the corporation has completely or near completely crushed all of its competition or has made it nearly or completely impossible for people to use any other corporation. You seem to be blaming the victims of corporations instead of blaming the actual corporations and the system they operate in.
Coincidence?
Apparently #Blizzard has demanded that #Warcraft I & II be de-listed from #GoG, which will happen on the 13th of December. This is obviously because Blizzard is about to release the remastered versions on their own Battle(.)net walled garden.
So if you'd like to get your own DRM free copy of these timeless classics, improved and updated by the fine folks at GoG, you have until the 13th to snatch it up. They even have a discount code for the bundle.
Steam purchases now clearly state you're just getting a license not ownership
#LogicalFallacy lesson 2
#False_Dilemma or #False_Dichotomy:
If someone presents only two options or outcomes, when in reality there are other options, it is called a false dilemma/dichotomy.
Example: "If we don't build more highways, traffic will be unbearable"
• this presents buildings highways as the only solution to traffic, where in reality there are many other factors.
#LogicalFallacy lesson 1
#Ad_hominem:
When someone attacks the person and their traits instead of addressing the argument, it's known as an Ad Hominem fallacy. This is a #fallacy because attacking the person does not discredit or invalidate their argument.
Example: "Your takes on the dangers of monopolies is invalid because you're a socialist"
