@reece BC and QC have better and older EV subsidies, so fleet started growing faster & sooner. (Policy helped by cheap & sufficient hydropower, I think.)

Our friends at Cycle Toronto are fighting THE fight with their Charter challenge of the Ford’s government’s law to remove bike lanes . If they win, we all win.

Otherwise trust us, this government will attempt to remove bike lanes in other Ontario municipalities, incl. here in Ottawa.

@mikepmoffatt would it make sense to say gst on new build = gst rebate claimed by builder? That way land cost is excluded, and it automatically adjusts by area and over time.

@jleiper OC Transpo has to stop making service worse if they want to attract more riders. 10min train service would be fine if transfers weren't required, but once you're trying to catch a bus at one end or the other (or both) it adds too much friction and more people will drive.
Already, the reduced bus service has made transit a poor option for me for most trips. I would like it to be better.
