TIL that Christopher Luxon doesn’t live in his own electorate, and when he voted today in Botany he had to cast a special vote for the Epsom electorate 😲 I guess we heard about this when he was first elected to parliament a whole 3 years ago, but I’d forgotten. I wonder if any of the 7 properties he owns are in Botany 🤔 #NZPol

Advance voting opens tomorrow!

- You don’t need ID to vote
- You don’t need the EasyVote card to vote
- If you’re eligible but not enrolled you can enroll and vote at the voting place
- Your employer _must_ allow you time off to vote on the day

If you can’t get to a polling place you can
- Authorise someone else to collect and return your voting papers
- Request Elections staff to deliver and return your voting papers
- If physically unable to mark a ballot paper you can vote by phone
