Great, Slack is now spamming my DMs, in a workspace I do not own, with ads encouraging me to upgrade. Yay enshitification!
It is frankly obnoxious that portal.office.com now redirects to a Copilot page with no direct link to Outlook, Word, etc. (you know, Office...).
Yes, but probably because you force rebooted my Win11 Pro machine (still unclear why this is even a thing in Pro SKUs) and Word didn't close properly, so thanks MSFT?
I will never understand who at Microsoft thought this was okay. It's a profoundly gross UX pattern.
Cool, cool. Excellent UI work...
I'm officially done pretending what happened to Oracle somehow didn't involve Oracle Cloud. Transparency from Oracle has been garbage. I literally cannot recommend OCI to any of my clients at this point.
Working on some code and I have to say that while this is just a word wrap error, I can't think one that's more on point...
Again, Microsoft - unsolicited advertisements for games have NO PLACE in Windows 11 Professional. Please slap whoever decided this was appropriate.
This is Oracle actively covering up evidence of an intrusion. This is someone executing 1990's breach playbooks in 2025.
I want to find the Microsoft engineer behind this and beat them with dimensional lumber...

@malwarejake "If we bother enough people connected to this org maybe they'll speak to managers and they'll pay just to shut us up, then we can spam them with AI 'summaries' of irrelevant shit every single day.

@brunty @malwarejake maybe we should stop paying for-profits for anything to do with communications.

And with anything I mean everything.

Because communication in any way, shape or form should be a free (as in beer and speech) commodity accessible to everybody.

Just thinking out loud after a long day...

@malwarejake lately I noticed some abuse of app notifications to push AI features.

Do they think we’re unaware of it?

Bro, you’ve been spamming us with AI for 2 years. If I wanted to use it, I’d be using it already.

@malwarejake It's called Sales-force after all :-/

I'm actually impressed they have resisted for as long as they have, seems there are still some good people with power at Slack although I assume it's just a matter of time before until they have been pushed out
