Here we go!
#JavaConnect KE 2026 by Kenya JUG with Jakarta EE
After the whole euphoria of using Agentic AI as shown at #JAX2026 in Mainz, I've tested in my project where I am hitting a long time issue with HAPI FHIR.
Result: after more than 6 hours running and trying to find the issue, it ended up cheating by modifying the output error, downgrading it from error to info, so no validation issue happens.
I've ended it by reverting the code to last commit
Thanks to #KenyaJUG and Ian Dancan for a fantastic #JavaConnectKE!
Wonderful conversations and excellent presentations. And so much fun presenting #AI with Jakarta EE

Researchers just mathematically proved that AI can't recursively self-improve its way to superintelligence.
Not "we think it's unlikely." Not "it seems hard." Formally proved.
The model doesn't climb toward AGI — it slowly forgets what reality looks like. They call it model collapse. The math calls it inevitable.
I wrote about it 👇

A new arXiv paper formally proves that recursive self-improvement in LLMs is mathematically impossible - the mechanism everyone believed would lead to superintelligence is actually a one-way ticket to model collapse. Let's unpack it.
Amazing: #Debian is now shipping reproducible packages 💪

Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!
