Today is the "official" 30th anniversary of #Java. Since I first began working with Java over 15 years ago, it has served as the starting point for various experiments and applications. It has also driven the evolution of my career between different companies and roles. And on top of that, I could talk to its creator, James Gosling, for the @foojay #podcast. Watch the video on YouTube, or listen to the Foojay podcast in your favorite app.
Thanks, #JCON for an excellent #Java conference! A top team, a great organization, outstanding speakers, and curious-to-learn visitors. Thanks to my Azul and @foojay colleagues, Geertjan Wielenga and @hansolo_ for their support in getting 33 people in the spotlight for an interview.
You can find them all here:

These will be combined in several Foojay Podcasts in the following weeks...
Here is the playlist with all the #JCON interviews of yesterday and more coming today!

Today and tomorrow, we are at the #JCON Conference in Köln, Germany. We have set up an interview booth to talk to speakers and visitors about all things Java.

In this new @foojay #podcast, we celebrate #Java's 30th anniversary this May! I'm honored to present the first-ever single-guest podcast, with a special guest: James Gosling! This is the story of Java, told by the man who started it all, the father of Java.
Listen in your favorite podcast app, or watch it on YouTube.
