Twitter emigre. Living proof that you can be some of the fools all the time. Wife to Lou. Trying to Dad Jasper & Mabli. Mood may go in & out. He/him. Neurodivergent.

Of course you don't give a fuck. If everyone did, we'd flood the market…currency value would bottom out.

This is just basic fuckonomics.

So, it seems to me the Twitter/Mastodon choice is between a ‘hell site’ where everyone does what the fuck they want and people suffer or a thousand tiny ‘heavens’ that are so vigorously curated and policed that they feel miserable too. 🙄
Musk has used "Vox populi, Vox Dei" to justify reinstating Trump on #Twiiter. But the quote is from a letter from Alcuin to the Emporer Charlemagne urging him to resist such ideas, "Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit." Which translates as "And do not listen to those who keep saying, 'The voice of the people is the voice of God', because the tumult of the crowd is always close to madness."

"What are you doing out of your cage, Picasso?" says Splinter.
Then he sees the gun.
I first met this a year or two ago and, as a gardener with a large compost heap, have never again looked upon kitchen waste in quite the same way. Or on my own end...
Aaarrgghhh! Case of conflicting values here as the moderator has said that all posts must be in English or German so that they can moderate them. Whither my Welsh posts or indeed those in any other languages I come across?!

"Would you rather eat a pound of bricks or a matter baby?" he asks.

"What's a matter baby?" I ask.

I'm shown a newborn so dense the fabric of space-time sags in a deep gravity well, drawing nearby celestial objects inextricably towards it.

"Uhhhhhh… The bricks, I guess?"
