My wife, an English professor, explained why she doesn’t use TikTok based on what I’ve explained to her about data security, Chinese govt, etc. and her students actually seemed to listen seriously to her. Have I entered Bizzaro world?

@malwaretech combination of old tech and they intentionally don’t make it too easy due to all the laws around wire transfers in the us.

@hacks4pancakes I think it’s because usually it’s not security that is the final arbiter of when something is an incident but often legal. You’re right. Use the retainer it’s what it is for.
