Settling down for the night with the #novella “Helpmeet” by Naben Ruthnum. I’ve been on a bit of a #weirdfiction tear lately and looking forward to this.
EDIT- post-read: a very quick read! Lots of body horror, but strangely touching? 3.75

Working on a jumper made out of #WoolAndTheGang #NewWaveYarn recycled polyester yarn (proving, once again, that I am all over everything New Wave). Each ball contains the equivalent of about three plastic bottles saved from the ocean.
This is a photo from earlier in the project, back when I was just mindlessly knitting away in stockinette. I’m up to the moss stitch section now. For people who make entire projects out of moss stitch: (a) how? (b) why?

Planning and mitigation were all WFH yesterday except for one of my colleagues. She came over and sat with us in Training and Development answered all my map and satellite imaging questions. I turned into the Jesse Pinkman meme.

I’m spite of on-off cervicogenic migraines, I finished a sewing project: a cotton poplin nightie for my Nan. Pattern is a hacked #NocturePyjamas top by Sew Liberated. Body extended to 90cm and armscyes finished with invisible bias binding.
I really recommend this pattern. Simple to follow, easy to hack, with an extensive size range. Nan has already ordered another.
