I had a look at voter turnout in the last Toronto municipal election, where less that 30% of eligible voters bothered to show up.
With an open mayoral race in an upcoming by-election, maybe Torontonians will take notice, especially if there’s a clear choice of recognizable candidates who campaign on distinct visions for the city’s future.

I still can’t believe they’ve got hospitals calling the Red Cross for help when Ontario under spent on healthcare by ~$900 million in the first half of this year.

Ontarians deserve a healthcare system that doesn’t rely on the Red Cross to bail us out.
A typical school has 4 times as many occupants as does office buildings for the same floor space. A school may be a higher risk for airborne pathogens than a hospital. Each school should have site specific mandated Indoor Air quality (IAQ) inspections yearly
