A temperature sensor mystery for you.

I have this small hygrometer display and 5 sensors for various rooms around my home. I used to know where all the sensors are.

This picture shows the first 3 and the interior temp/humidity in the house.

I have misplaced sensor 3. No idea where it is, definitely NOT the garage, which would be higher temp/humidity.

So...

The bottom reading is at the display. Top is the (unconditioned) sunroom. Second is a first-level room. Third is the missing one.

I've found no way to track down the sensor. There's no indication of signal strength.

Angry at myself. Looked everywhere.

Big News for School Air: GO AQS Launches “GO IAQS for Schools”

At See The Air, we have spent years advocating for a fundamental truth: clean air is a human right, and our children deserve the absolute best protection where they spend most of their day—inside the classroom. That is why I am thrilled to share a massive milestone in global air advocacy. The Global Open Air Quality Standards (GO AQS) has officially launched GO IAQS for Schools, a groundbreaking strategic plan designed to transform educational environments from passive shelters into active, health-protective zones. For too long, policy regarding school air has relied on generic, "check-box" ventilation advice. GO AQS is changing the game by shifting the focus toward health-based performance metrics. The Vision: "Same Air, Same Standards" The core philosophy behind the GO IAQS for Schools initiative is beautifully simple: Same Air, Same Standards. Air pollution and airborne pathogens don't care about geography or economic status. This initiative aims for global adoption, ensuring that children in resource-limited settings are protected by the exact same high-performance metrics as those in the most developed economies. By replacing vague guidance with strict, science-based performance standards, the framework ensures air quality is maintained at levels that protect even the most clinically vulnerable students and staff (such as those managing asthma or compromised immune systems). GO AQS Launches “GO IAQS for Schools”: A Global Initiative to Thriving Classrooms

GO AQS (Global Open Air Quality Standards) is proud to announce the introduction of GO IAQS for Schools, a strategic plan designed to transform educational environments from passive shelters into active, health-protective zones. This global intervention establishes a new standard for student wellness by moving away from generic ventilation advice toward enforceable, health-based performance metrics. A New Paradigm for School Health The GO IAQS for Schools plan is built on a "Same Air, Same […]

We did an admitted students day trip to Suffolk University with Offspring yesterday.
I hung a CO2 monitor from my belt. We were in numerous different rooms, some of them crowded, in several different buildings, and the CO2 never got above 600. Most of the time it was below 500. It _is_ possible to make indoor spaces safe.
On the other hand, on the ½ hour bus ride home the level was over 1,600. 🤦‍♂️ Shitty ventilation on the bus, and the windows all still locked shut from the winter.

@mu The Australian National Construction Code Indoor Air Quality Verification Methods was updated in 2022 to include:

OzSAGE provided the following advice on carbon dioxide concentrations in relation to infection risk during the COVID-19 pandemic:
• Around 600 ppm or below is best practice
• Below 800 ppm indicates a low relative risk of infection
• Between 800 ppm to 1,500 ppm indicates a moderate relative risk of infection
• Above 1,500 ppm indicates a high relative risk of infection.
