So #lazyweb, I'm looking for examples of AI/ML gone wrong. Either extreme biases, or cases where the implementation of AI caused negative impacts on a business, especially where the negative impacts were amplified over time because it was retraining on the old inputs. #Ottawa getting a snowfall warning for Thursday night and Friday. Around 15 -25 cm is forecast (6 to 10 inches for the metrically-challenged).

Never forget that when #Seoul, Korea removed the #Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 and replaced it with a restored stream and a 1000 acre park in the city’s centre, not only did it completely transform the city’s public life & economic success, but when combined with public transit improvements, the vehicle traffic congestion actually got better.

The traffic got BETTER!
