He's just this guy, y'know?
I've been spending so many of my evenings learning Rust that I've started to dream about working in the language. But since I still don't have a solid grasp on the language, it's all just generic dreams of me using it, and not using that dreamtime to solve any problems that I'm having. #rust #rustlang
@eurasierboy Any plans for putting a limit on the cache size for Amaroq? It was already close to 300 megs, and its only been a couple weeks of it being installed.
Achievements in games do nothing for me, but when my Watch dangles a shiny digital medal in front of me for exercise? I'm all over it.

All of these matches always happen when I'm at work. The joy of working weekends...

@eurasierboy When you get the light theme going, the search screen for the dark/current theme would be nicer if it was dark and matched the rest if the theme. It makes the app harder to use at night.

Or even sooner than when the light theme gets implemented... 🤔

And here I thought 500 characters was amazing. I've already had a few responses where I have to go back and edit it down to less characters. Maybe I should work on not being so wordy...
Every time I see screenshots or videos of i3, I consider starting the transition to Linux. It would be a long transition, as I'm deep in the Mac ecosystem. But i3 just looks so much better than any other window management system, especially macOS's. #linux
Barely 3 hours of sleep. It's going to be one of those days... 😴☕️

RIP Bob Taylor, who played a role in the creation of the ARPAnet, the personal computer, Engelbart's mouse, Xerox's desktop metaphor, and more. Also (this guy didn't slack) co-wrote "The Computer as a Communications Device" (1968) with Licklider.

One of the things that I'm split on with Mastodon is with choosing an instance. I like the idea of smaller communities that are focused while still having access to the fediverse, but also fear losing my entire account should that smaller instance fold. I don't want to rely on the future possibility of account transfers when deciding now, since it's not guaranteed.

It would be painful to see years worth of interactions disappear because an admin couldn't run that server anymore.
