Every time I see screenshots or videos of i3, I consider starting the transition to Linux. It would be a long transition, as I'm deep in the Mac ecosystem. But i3 just looks so much better than any other window management system, especially macOS's. #linux

@krueger Videos of i3? I'm curious! I've only ever seen screenshots, but nothing that's really motivated me to budge from MATE or Openbox setups.

@krueger Well... It is in fact very convenient for doing some work, say, frontend programming and such, and I use it a lot for that, but i's most definitely NOT the best wm generally. You will have tons of trouble running stuff with custom GUIs like Steam and any kind of fullscreen software, for example.
