The CEO from #wayfair is a joke. Expecting people to blend work and life together with even more hours; calling people lazy because they do not fit his concept of work ethics. Your work should not be your life. We work more enough than it is, putting an enormous amount of hours to it. Companies need to have a healthy culture that understands the physical and mental needs of its employees.

Wayfair CEO memo: We're profitable again; expect long hours

Wayfair's CEO wrote that it was "back to winning" but that employees shouldn't get lazy. Read his memo to workers.

It is interesting how they (Conservative Party) cannot even see how Israel could also be labelled as terrorist, as an oppressor of Palestinian people.
I’m honestly getting exhausted from all the wars. What is happening in #israel is awful; but so is the history of how #palestinian people have been targeted and controlled by Israeli government. The pressure has been brewing for many years, and at some point we knew this would happen. But the division between people choosing a side based on the dichotomy of good v. Evil does not help the situation. From what I can see, there are various shades of facts which mainstream media are ignoring.

Wow, that is disappointing indeed.
@dmacphee this guy is just… well I’m not going to say it. Anyone can get elected apparently.
@RonBeavis WELL, I would not be on my bike, on that road, at anytime of the day then. When I used to work in the area I took the side streets. It took me longer, but with no barriers Infelt unsafe.
@raymondpert This is actually very interesting because of the agreement NDP has with the Liberal government. If the NDP wants to be known as the party for the working class, I would assume they would use their agreement to push the liberal to rethink their plan. Of course, only time will tell.
@RonBeavis I love how the city says they are pushing forward on bikelanes; yet, their designs are so poorly made. I would not be on that road during peak driving hours with how some people drive.

I’ve been focusing on researching aspects of public transportation –and the urban spaces associated with it. My professor had us read Jane Jacobs book, which I found fascinating. I will have to look into Robert Caro next.
