I really resonated with how every new product now is asking you of something. This inspired me to start wearing my mechanical watch more often than my smart watch

The Last Quiet Thing

Your possessions came alive. Now they won't stop talking.

Obsidian is my favorite note taking tool.

Here’s the system I built around it to stop forgetting everything I read and watch.

Building a Personal Knowledge Management System

How I set up a personal knowledge management system using Obsidian, the benefits of keeping detailed notes, and how I use it to connect and synthesize information over time.

I didn't expect learning a text editor to change how I used my computer.

Vim motions led me to using a tiling window manager, then a browser extension, and now I barely touch my mouse.

Vim Motions Took Over My Computer

I didn't expect learning a text editor to change my workflow.

My homelab started because I wanted to run a Minecraft server. It’s now a Proxmox setup running a multiplayer game I built plus several self-hosted services. Named it Geronimo after the eleventh doctor.

Trying to write more and leave a small piece of myself on the web. This is the first of hopefully many.

Don’t let uncertainty or price increases dissuade you from using a password manager. There’s a good choice for everyone. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2026/02/how-pick-your-password-manager
How to Pick Your Password Manager

Phishing and data breaches are a constant on the internet. The single best defense against both is to use a password manager to generate and automatically fill a unique password for every site. There are free options, and even ones built into your operating system or browser. We can help you choose.

Just finished watching #wonderman and what a great show.

My favorite moment was the transition between episodes 3 and 4. Episode 3 ended with Simon saying he can’t pursue acting because of Doorman, but they didn’t explain why, leaving me hanging with this ‘wait, who’s Doorman?’ feeling. Then episode 4 opens and it’s entirely a Doorman focused episode with its own title card, answering the question I’d just been asking. It was such a clever way to build curiosity and then immediately satisfy it

I've finally decided to switch over to @zenbrowser after @arcinternet halted development. So far I highly recommend for people used to the #Arc workflow.

I recommend enabling "media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.enable-when-switching-tabs.enabled" configuration in about:config to get the Arc like auto PiP when switching tabs in #ZenBrowser

Any other tips and tricks for switching to Zen Browser from Arc?
