I didn’t want to be late to the party since the fountains are always highest during the first 1-2 hours of a new episode. Myself and many of the other lava watchers who were waiting felt increasingly more discouraged and even stressed when the tilt/inflation graphs would occasionally flatten and lava would periodically stop appearing and glowing at the surface of the vents. I think many of us were ready to give up and go home, but perseverance triumphed in the 11th hour. Enjoy this video of the gushing lava fountain from the north vent. For some reason, high fountaining north vent eruptions look much more forceful than high fountaining south vent eruptions. Episode 24 was around 7.5 hours in duration.
