@DazeEnd @vandal I’ve been a happy Rackspace Email customer for 10+ years, providing “free” emails account to family and friends. Now I need to decide whether to pass the cost to them or find another provider. I get needing to increase the price but going from $2.99 to $10 per mailbox is down right ridiculous.
@johnbrayton So awesome!! Congrats.
@agiletortoise @danielpunkass That’s good to hear. I am very curious to see who my son becomes once he’s out of the house. I joke with him that he’ll never survive on his own in college, but in reality, I know he’s gonna thrive.
@danielpunkass Nice read. We went through a similar situation with my kid (also 17), but that phase is over. He was accepted into and has enrolled in a school that’s a 3.5 hour drive from home. Close enough that we can see him play golf for the school. Far enough that he won’t be home every weekend. Now the fun part for me is figuring out how we pay for the school.

Turns out the script missed the last 3 because it hit some rate limit. Added a small delay between request and problem solved.
I asked Claude AI to look up the address and lat/long coordinates of 53 golf courses and generate a csv file containing the data. It looked up the first 5, stopped, and told me to look up the rest. I thought for a moment, then asked Claude to write a CLI script using Swift and MapKit that looks up the info based on a list of golf course names. A minute later I had a csv file containing 50 of the 53 golf course. I count that as a win.
@StewartLynch is this possibly the version you’re looking for? Go to the last tutorial and download the project files. https://developer.apple.com/tutorials/swiftui

@agiletortoise I thought the skip was a feature, not a bug, for old farts like me who want to relive those early days of having a CD player in the car that would skip when hitting big bumps in the road.
