Turns out the script missed the last 3 because it hit some rate limit. Added a small delay between request and problem solved.
I asked Claude AI to look up the address and lat/long coordinates of 53 golf courses and generate a csv file containing the data. It looked up the first 5, stopped, and told me to look up the rest. I thought for a moment, then asked Claude to write a CLI script using Swift and MapKit that looks up the info based on a list of golf course names. A minute later I had a csv file containing 50 of the 53 golf course. I count that as a win.

I discovered a neat use case for iPhone Mirroring. I was testing features in a watchOS app that updates the UI in the companion iOS app, plus starts, stops, and updates Live Activities. Using iPhone Mirroring, I can see the UI changes happening in the iOS app while at the same time seeing the Live Activities changes happening on the lock screen of my iPhone.
As an aging nerd, I spend my Friday nights trying to figure why my Internet download speed is 180 Mbps and my upload speed is 640 Mbps while paying for 1 Gig of service, and not really caring because I remember the 1200 baud dial-up days.
Yesterday was opening day at Stowe Mountain Resort and my first day of snowboarding this season. But what made the day really special for me was using the app that I now get to work on.
