joining Mastodon as a writer is like arriving way early to the party even though you just spent 30 minutes in your car outside the house trying to kill time so you wouldn’t be TOO early and now it’s kinda weird and you’re trying to find the guy who invited you to “check out this cool party tonight” but you can’t find him. so now you’re just kinda wandering around looking for a cat or the pretzels bowl.
