Auschwitz Memorial24 November 1912 | A Czech Jewish woman, Eleonora Hartová, was born in Prague.
She was deported to Auschwitz from Theresienstadt ghetto on 15 December 1943. She did not survive.

A heart-breaking moment captured in an SS made picture of Hungarian Jews at #Auschwitz II-Birkenau in 1944. The women and children were selected by SS doctors to be killed in gas chambers.
A child found a dandelion in the grass and is giving or showing it to an older boy. All the people in the picture were gassed soon afterwards.
