I like to take photographs and I have opinions, sometimes they go together. I have a delightful 10yo Labrador, a vegetable garden and some fruit trees, and look forward to raspberry season each year - even if it's just a little crop.

Recently got a hard drive that was in my parents' home 8000 miles away. Photos that I thought were boring at the time (in 2009) are now so nostalgic, given the circumstances:

A photo of Palmyra, the famous Roman ruins in Homs, Syria, in 2009 before ISIS blew it up.

PSA for anyone considering the water shooting ear cleaning device I've been seeing in a commercial recently. Especially if you have any previous connective tissue problems like EDS or previous ear issues. A med professional shot a hole through my eardrum last year with a "gentle" water device. Now I have an ear specialist. FYI: once your eardrum has been ruptured, it heals thinner and is easier to rupture again. That was rupture no. 2 for me. Painful and would not recommend it. #NEISvoid

Dutton says Labor should do more for struggling families. Herewith a taste of his voting record. He voted for;
No penalty rates

Tighter means testing of family payments
Bloke one year from retirement, definitely winging it

"We call it the John Howard approach to leadership."

But if people work more to get more money then won’t that just cause more inflation, Mr Lowe?
So should we also sell off the children for medical experiments and organ transplantation to help pay off the bills, Phil?
