Together with @hubertmara , Timo Homburg and other colleagues from Germany, I have initiated a @nfdi4objects Temporary Working Group #TWG to explore how #3D Annotation and the Web Annotation Model
can be used for the study of cultural heritage objects. We want to work closely with @IIIF and if anyone else is interested in joining (it's a working group, not a debating club), read our proposal (in EN) that was officially approved by the Steering Committee and get in touch!

It is with great dismay that I read the sad news. Rais Amir was always a reliable partner in the projects in which I had the honour of working with him. Archaeology and Egyptology have lost a man of great merit. My heartfelt condolences to all those close to him.

First Community Meeting #N4Ocm23 of #NFDI4Objects in Berlin today and tomorrow. 5 years of establishing a basis for a sustainable #ResearchDataInfrastructure for object related research ahead. ca. 200 registered participants almost exclusively from Germany this year from universities, research institutes, authorities and companies. Good starting point for integration into international #RDM endeavours.
