But one very common use of "Like" - which is to say "I've seen your comment and appreciate it but don't feel the need to continue the exchange" doesn't seem to have an equivalent here.
Interesting that Mastodon's "Favourite" function is private... On the one hand, I like being able to flag things for myself knowing that I'm not cluttering up others' feeds. On the other, I like how "like vs. RT" shows varying degrees of endorsement on the other platform. "Like = I agree w this" while "RT = I'm reiterating this myself."
