@gruber John, the story about your parents had me welling up this morning. Such a personal, beautiful tribute. I lost my father nearly 30 years ago and it still hurts sometimes. Those memories and moments described in your piece will endure. They have for me.
@daringfireball@gruber just logging on to say most installment plans on carriers are 3 years now. I had to replace my battery on my last phone and my current 14 pro is at 77%. Heavy driver for work with CarPlay probably doesn’t help. Anything they can do to get me through 3-4 years helps.
@jason@overcastfm Just wanted to second that I have many podcasts with episode limits at 1 or 2 and they are filling up my phone/playlists. Any updates or work around if it’s user error would be appreciated
@overcastfm I’ve updated to newest version of the app and still podcasts that are supposed to keep only one episode have multiple filling my playlist. Suggestions?
@overcastfm Congrats on new app update. I had an issue I haven’t noticed anyone report. My All Episodes playlist had hundreds of zombie episodes I had previously deleted or marked played and whose feed settings say only keep 1 episode. Thanks. I had to clear out 150 episodes. Thanks
@atpfm@siracusa if you haven’t tried the sleep schedule via Health app alarms you’re missing out. They arrive quiet and slowly ascend to a waking level with such calm tones. For some reason I’ve never been able to find the same tones when setting a one off alarm, so it seems as you need to use the built in sleep schedule to use them
