Seems like @elk is getting a big uptick in users. Which makes sense, I'm loving it so far
Have any Android users noticed that it's no longer possible to open multiple Chrome windows? My old phone still has multiple windows available, but on my new phone the "Manage Windows" option isn't there and I'm no longer able to open multiple Chrome windows in split view.
Anyone else run into this? I'm really hoping they didn't remove the feature...
Banning links/handles for alternative social media services really demonstrates Elon's total lack of principles. I feel like he'd accumulated a ton of good will within the tech community for having (apparently) been behind so much innovation and his general public persona.
But walling Twitter off really betrays a tenet common to most tech-first minded people.
I have to believe this will mostly exhaust what remains of that good will.
Matt BlazeThe great irony is that by having a "private" plane all to himself, Elon has bought the OPPOSITE of anonymity. If he flew commercial, or even just chartered planes for each trip, his travel patterns would be much more opaque. But using an inherently trackable jet linked specifically to him makes his movements effectively public.
It must be tough to be a billionaire. So much money, so many tradeoffs.
Tony WebsterI will continue to run an ADS-B receiver in my window to track planes in my community using public, open source broadcasts, as I have been doing for almost a decade. Plane tracking is protected by the First Amendment and has facilitated many news stories.

• The W3C is in part hosted by MIT but MIT intends to withdraw on Dec 31.
• A new W3C nonprofit needs to take over on Jan 1.
• MIT needs to transfer assets (member dues, contracts, IP…) to the new W3C for it to operate.
• I was elected to the W3C Board and am part of the negotiations.

Scott SantensWe never did #UBI. People don't stop qualifying for UBI when they start earning income, and people don't stop qualifying for UBI when they earn "too much" either.
What we did do is kill a lot of workers, prevent a lot of immigrant workers, and give good reason to retire early.
