My daughter taught herself to ride a bike this weekend after trying at different times over the past couple of years. So proud of her!
Unfortunately, in the city we don't have space for one right now. But at least she got the experience.
Yes this is being posted as I struggle to charge my daughter's ebook reader with a worn-out micro USB connector.
Also why didn't they brand it as µSB before we all realized how bad it was? Real missed opportunity.
Whoever developed and continued to push the Micro USB B standard for so many years needs to be punished somehow.
I'm not completely anti-LLM but I'm also not a huge fan of them oftentimes since they are mainly good at generating generic stuff. But if this is the best Microsoft can do at incorporating the technology into their flagship product, what the heck are we even doing.
So my workplace just rolled out MS's new Copilot integration into everything. What a mess. It's plastered everywhere even when doing basic editing. And it can't even do basic things I'd want it to do.
For example - Turn this copy/pasted survey from MS Forms into a properly formatted document in Word - completely fails open.
An underrated feature of automated metro systems is getting to see where the metro is going. And kids getting to pretend like they're driving it.
I guess a very belated #introduction. I'm a guy who lives outside of DC #MoCo #Rockville #dmv. I'm a #law guy during my day job but will not speak about my work here.
More importantly, I have 3 young kids in a bilingual house #Brasil #português. I'm interested in #LandUse, #BikeTooter, #SafeStreets, #Transit, and #Cooking. I'd generally consider myself in the #YIMBY camp and get frustrated by the lack of urgent action on these issues.
Also, not a big fan of hashtags but trying to use them.
