I really like the lack of ads and the interesting diversity of posts I see from folks I follow here. Lots of indi devs. But what I lament is the lack of artists. I donโ€™t know if the issue is that itโ€™s harder to discover folks due to not seeing their post history unless someone from your server follows them but I just feel a single digit percent of the game devs and artists I followed on Twitter came to mastodon. See them all on bluesky but if theyโ€™re here Iโ€™m having a hard time finding them.

Anyway, have fun with your projects!

Do you know Smeed's Law?

The British engineer stated speed of urban traffic is self-regulatingโ€”attempts to increase it are self-defeating.

Avg. speed for #London traffic in 1949: 9 mph
Avg. speed of London traffic 65 years later: 8.98 mph.

Bicycles have *always* been faster.

Greetings, I am an anti AI, anti twitter blue, fiercely progressive human artist. I've been drawing for three days for 10 hours straight and I'm exhausted, so I'd be very grateful if you could help me increase my audience by showing my art to more people. thanks!
