This is truly astounding. He's a fucking investigative reporter for @NYTimes. I oversaw many investigative pieces while running Rewire News, and EVIDENCE was the OPERATIVE WORD AND PRINCIPLE. Multiple fact checks, Multiple reviews.
Today the "investigative reporter" for @nytimes stated that he did not use "evidence" to report the story on rapes in Israel. This was obvious at the time because there were so many inconsistencies in the whole set of claims and also, btw, nobody ever told the parents of the people who they claimed were raped that their kids were raped. just told the NYT so parents could find out about these claims in the press. I've seen a lot of disgraceful shit at this point in my life...
