While I don’t use #XMPP systems any more, I am delighted to see all the activity that is happening within the ecosystem!
I was an early user of jabber.org (in the early 2000’s?) and continued to use it until it just got so overrun by spam that it was useless for me. Simultaneously, other places that had been using XMPP systems were all moving to Slack or similar messengers, particularly as independent clients were struggling.
But I have always like the ideas of XMPP… I wish the community well
MovimSo, the past few days we focused on fixing numerous bugs in Movim with many fixes in Multi-participants calls and general presences handling.
We're slowly getting closer to a proper release, stay tuned ✨

Anyone have recommendations for inexpensive rack mount enclosures? Every time I go to look it's $100+ (then shipping usually) and at that point I might as well but something from eBay and gut it.
The bud industry plastic enclosure https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/bud-industries/PRM-14460/655427 is nice but at $50 it's still hard to justify not buying a 10/100 switch from eBay.
VE7FIMI have had two different electronics components manufacturers ghost me now over the last month when I've asked for full data sheets.
So I have two reels of parts that I effectively can't use because they won't let me.
All because I'm not a big enough company for them to bother.
Molly Whitemaybe twitter's URL censoring is so easily circumvented because all the software engineers still there are desperately trying to keep their lines of code metrics as high as possible
