We're also working on the releasing MapComplete as app in the Google Play store. The test bundle has just been uploaded, but now we need testers.

Do you want to be included in the test program?

On Overture's Avoidance of the ODbL

Dear Overture Team and OpenStreetMap Community,

I worry not because Cloudflare is wrong to take this stance, but because for years they’ve done a mediocre job of differentiating RSS crawlers from AI scrapers, and the difference matters. (Just ask @johnbrayton what it can mean to a small business that tries very hard to support the open web.)

Do you know that with #OpenStreetMap data, #wheelchair navigation is possible in the #OsmAnd app?

Another tool that can help enrich wheelchair access data. is https://wheelmap.org, which is an easy-to-use thematic editor, though you can use always use your favorite editor.

Yet more companies laying off employees not because AI is replacing them, but because they need more money to fund their AI. I can't remember the last time I saw sunk cost fallacy at this scale.

The routing profile is not built-in, but #OsmAnd is capable of importing custom routing profiles.

@MapAmore but do keep in mind that wheel map is quite simplistic and actually doesn't ask enough information to be useful for a variety of wheelchair or disability users.

There's a variety of things that doesn't look at like door width and such.
Onwheels is a Belgian app which switch to open street map for that data set and does ask detailed questions about stuff.
Website is in Dutch but the app is in English

There's also a mapcomplete theme:

@thibaultmol @MapAmore I've noticed StreetComplete asking about door widths too lately, though it's still not nearly as thorough.
