A couple of fuzzy new friends I met at the #CapybaraCafé in #StPetersburgh, #Florida when I visited last month. Most folks probably have heard of capybaras before, but the other creature is a mara, a member of the cavy family, and looks like a combo between a rabbit and a guinea pig. More good news. The chronicler’s wife is rediscovering the world. Suddenly, there are colours and textures, and details are coming into view. It’s impressive and eye-opening to see things that sighted people take for granted.
The Rudel is happy too, though they’re more taken with the fact that the meadow and the woods smell particularly lovely after a rain shower. A lovely day.
