This #pelican at #Passe-a-Grille in #StPetersburgh #Florida was not afraid of the beachgoers, and stood patiently by one man, hoping for a handout. Eventually, some people showed up to fish on the jetty and he left the beach to beg by the fishers. The last photo is of a pile of shells, one set of which looks vaguely like a heart. #Bird #birds #beach

Hit up a local #food joint in #stpetersburgh #florida today.  I can't express what a treat it is to go out to eat and be served actual food instead of reheated Cisco.

This place has been around for 75 years and everything we had was full or flavyand delicious.  Haven't had smoked fish in years and it lived up to the nostalgia.

A couple of fuzzy new friends I met at the #CapybaraCafé in #StPetersburgh, #Florida when I visited last month. Most folks probably have heard of capybaras before, but the other creature is a mara, a member of the cavy family, and looks like a combo between a rabbit and a guinea pig. Still going through my photos while Vermont continues to thaw. Looking forward to spring coming. #Capybara #Mara
