I’ve heard that Citrix are complaining me billing this CitrixBleed 2 is causing them reputational damage, and isn’t related in any way to CitrixBleed.
For the record - it was a dumb joke name to attraction attention for patching. I know it isn’t exactly the same cause.
But, ya know, it is a memory disclosure vuln which reveals sensitive info, and it does require ICA sessions be reset.. which only happened before with CitrixBleed.
Holy crap the Stop Destroying Videogames European Citizens' Initiative is almost 75% there, while only a week or so a go it was stuck at 50% 🤯
We might make it after all!
HR: "Do you have a moment? We just want to ask you about your self-assessment?"
Me: "Sure."
HR: "So, for 'personality type', we were expecting something from Myers-Briggs. You know, like ENJF."
Me: "Oh?"
HR: "You selected 'Other' and filled in, 'Chaotic Good'."
Me: "Yes, that's right."
HR: "Why?"
Me: "Because I use the term 'fortnight' as often as possible in communications in a US-based company, replace 'z's with 's'es, and convert dates everywhere to ISO8601."
HR: "Well yes we can see how that would be classified as 'Chaotic Good', but we were expecting something grounded in science."
Me: "So why were you asking for Myers-Briggs?"
'On November 28th, 2012, Randall Munroe published an xkcd comic that was a calendar in which the size of each date was proportional to how often each date is referenced by its ordinal name (…) "In months other than September, the 11th is mentioned substantially less often than any other date. It's been that way since long before 9/11 and I have no idea why." After digging into the raw data, I believe I have figured out why.'
