Trump reads Old Testament passage in marathon Bible event

President Donald Trump and many of his conservative Christian supporters are participating in a marathon Bible reading event. The America Reads the Bible event is being livestreamed from the Museum of the Bible in Washington and other locations. Arlington National Cemetery was once a plantation and owned by General Robert E. Lee.
George Washington raised Martha’s grandson, George Washington Parke Custis, as his own son at Mount Vernon.
Custis later built Arlington House to honor George Washington’s legacy. In 1831, his daughter and sole heir, Mary Anna Randolph Custis married Robert E. Lee. The Washington family seat was seized during the Civil War. Now it "honors" those who fight for the empire.
