I make some pretty good granola and I dislike car dependent infrastructure
@dangillmor I've quit Reddit because of this. Now there's a void in my phone addiction that mixes news, memes, and unsolicited opinions. Looking for suggestions!
@monsoon0 I thought that was a giant cucumber on your table and was trying to create a #portmanteau of cucumber and calculator. #cucumbulator or #calcucumber
@foxyjewishmama I've not been following closely, but I think it has something to do with shoes on some of their feet changed, Fox News drummed up outrage about the woke left being responsible for the change, so M&Ms said fuck it and dropped the characters.
@Blackfist @nazgul @SulliiRafi I was responding to Kee. I didn't see your post about the SC.
@SulliiRafi any attempt to classify race from a biological standpoint is considered obsolete
@nazgul @Blackfist @SulliiRafi Caucasian is an obsolete racial classification from a disproven theory of biological race. While most white people would be considered Caucasian by this classification system, so would northern Africans, Arabs, Persians, and northern Indians. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race?wprov=sfla1

@Erich I hadn't noticed how on the nose that plaque was. I was more taken aback by the story that I didn't read the plaque in context. Wow.
My son was drawn to this bobcat at the playground and I noticed the dedication plaque. I looked up #BrodyBates 's story. He was a 2 year old run over by his uncle's 2017 #GMC #pickup #truck. His uncle didn't see him in the 16 foot blind zone in front of the truck and the front sensors didn't recognize a 2 year old as an obstacle.
@losfromcp @conradhackett or Toronto. It's a shame the continent's fourth largest city is closer than the fifth and yet your only option to get there is by car in a reasonable 4ish hours or by public transit in 10. I suppose international travel complicates things a bit, but it's not like our relationship with our northern neighbor is strained.
@conradhackett such a shame. I'm a frequent rider on the #Wolverine. I get from #AnnArbor to #Chicago in the same time it takes to drive, yet I don't have to drive (and there's WiFi and hot water for my #tea ). I wish I could take the #train to more places.
