I don't know about all of you, but I personally feel mambos number 1 through 4 never really got enough attention.

"Caps lock is cruise control for cool."

Thank you very much @rysiek for this quote I hope to not soon forget.

It is #bolludagur (bun day) in #iceland, a day where people eat yummy cream-filled buns (bollur)!

As much as I enjoy a traditional bolla which is jam and cream with chocolate icing, I always make a point of trying the increasing variety of unconventional bollur. This year it was a bolla with strawberry cream filling/icing and a croissant bolla (filled with cream and blueberry jam).

I can't get enough of these!

Is it just me or is every helpline and call center consistently "experiencing unusually high call volumes"?

I don't think they know what "unusually" means 😂

Love making some simple #pizza at home. One features pepperoni, onion, mushroom, and feta. The other is a simple pepperoni and cheese for the toddler's palette.

@samerfarha very cool!

Are there some words you think English is desperately missing when trying to express yourself?

Saw this picture on xiaohongshu a couple days ago of a Subor computer that seems to be a combination of a famiclone and a 486? (EDIT: nope it's just a famiclone) And the pretty fantastic packaging with Jackie Chan on it
@Siph this is amazing

It's really cool and adorable to watch my son learn #english and #icelandic at the same time.

To set the stage, "hvað" is the icelandic interrogative pronoun for "what".

The phrase of choice the last couple days is "hvað happened?" (as he makes the appropriate gesture with his hands).

Friends that raised children in an english/icelandic household told me of similar things and it's really cute to see first hand.
