jbang jabkit@jabref

Requirements: jbang via `brew install jbangdev/tap/jbang` or [other ways](https://www.jbang.dev/download/).

The first #GithubAction to check #Bibtex consistency. For instance: Do all articles have page numbers, no articles, or is there a mix?

Head on to https://github.com/JabRef/jabref-action to see an example.

This is an alpha state. Feedback and contributions very welcome!

A couple of days ago we released the new Alpha 2 of Version 6.0 with many bug fixes and some fancy new things.

We improved the onboarding experience for new users, improved #CSL support in LibreOffice and for the #TexLaTeX users we now have support for analyzing blg files in the integrity check.

Recently, the annual JabCon, JabRef's own conference, took place in Zwiesel, Germany.

We took the time to discuss the architecture of #JabRef and work on some important aspects, primarily the improved architecture. In the near future, you will be able to use JabRef's core features from CLI and also use JabRef as a library as part of your tool chain independently of the GUI.
And for the normal users, the cleaner architecture will also result in improved stability.

JabCon 2024

From Friday, September 6 to Monday, September 9, 2023 the annual JabCon took place in Zwiesel, Germany, where the majority of the JabRef maintainers and some members of our non-profit organization JabRef e.V. met in person and worked together to improve JabRef and discuss the roadmap for future releases 🐱💻☕. We are happy to announce that JabRef e.V. now has 22 members who support JabRef’s development in various ways and keep us motivated.

Dear #javafx community, anyone encountered this strange UI font rendering before? Popped up in JabRef, but apparently other applications are affected as well.
Anyone a clue or maybe someone else can reproduce this?

You are using #LibreOffice but don't want to create or modify a complex citation style for your needs?
Thanks to our #GSOC contributor, you can now choose from the vast amount of #CSL styles in JabRef and use them together with LibreOffice.
