Slightly disoriented academic living in Bangalore now

Tamil, demi-ace, Long Covid survivor.

Interests: Books, drama, philosophy.

Looking for #postdoc openings in contemporary British drama, consciousness studies and #LitStudies adjacent areas

@vinayaravind @Bayta @thesimplecrew I'm joining the queue. Pliss to send one my way
Can't believe I've neglected this account so long! I guess I was still hoping the other place would still be functional. So tired!
@[email protected] Thank you!
@Nadika couldn't find your handle on the the bird site. Guess you've quit that. Please see if you can help?

I'm not as publicly exposed here as on the birdsite. So I can afford to post without anonymising. I'm so angry at what's happening at my workplace

A mostly closeted #queer colleague has been recently outed to the management. They are being harassed and framed presumably in order to throw them out. Before this escalates further, we're trying to help them find another job. Do you all have any leads for #vacancies in #Bengaluru colleges for #teaching #English?

One of my recent weaknesses is coming here and looking longingly at the "Publish" button! If only... 😔

Need a syllabus replacement… a text in English (preferably short story) that explores sex as a game or sport, in any sense (celebratory, critical, exploratory). Ready go!

My mastodon policy is going to be boosting any job posting I see, at least until I find a postdoctoral research position myself. (That might take months if not years.)
