@[email protected] @MissConstrue I mean it hasn't even been a week since Threads began testing federation, released in EU, all the news outlets and people began talking about it, and we started getting a bunch of spam for the past few days particularly from the flagship instance to the point where some other instances began limiting it. so yeah, I'd say it seems to add up
